Vic Civil are currently completing a large concrete scope for the new Australian Catholic University building in Fitzroy. Delivering large tiered in-situ concrete seats, Vic Civil has been completing concrete works from basement 7 all the way to Level 12. Works range from pile caps and pump well infills to architectural concrete elements, suspended decks, stairs, hobs and ramps.

Whilst working both below and above ground floor, careful consideration needs to be made to ensure materials and concrete can be placed without issue and delay. Whether concrete is pumped 6 storeys high, crane and kibbled to the top floor or kibbled via a forklift down 30m into the basement Vic Civil were able to work out logistically the most efficient method to place concrete in each situation. Vic Civil will also complete the external reinstatement works which include, demolition and asphalt re-sheet, concrete kerbs, bluestone kerb and island install, concrete footpaths, council crossovers, signage and line-marking.
