Vic Civil were engaged to undertake the site retention and bulk excavation works at the Berkeley Apartments in Hawthorn, Melbourne.
A total of 70 bored piers and 3000m3 of material was excavated from the small footprint site, with the end of 2021 to see the site with 7 boutique townhouses. Geotechnical advice guided the construction methodology, with 45m3 of shotcrete applied to the walls and finished in the first stage pour.
